Crushed batteries along roadway

Reported anonymously at 15:16, Thursday 8 April 2021

Unfortunately when the recycling lorry came last Saturday (3/4/21) it dropped six or so AA batteries on the carriageway which have now been crushed by vehicles. The photo shows an example of black powder and a crushed casing in the middle of the carriageway. I was hoping that someone qualified/appropriately PPE'd could come and dispose of them safely before a resident tries to put them in the bin(!).
