Road surface breaking up

Reported anonymously at 12:21, Thursday 8 April 2021

The road surface on the A5 eastbound carriageway adjacent to 113 Watling St Grendon is becoming seriously degraded and worsening day by day. I live at 115 Watling St The noise from lorries (particularly unladen) is now to a level which can awaken us during the night and the reverberation is being felt throughout the house. As you appreciate this is a very heavily used road, 24hours/day. Many of the trucks at night are transferring between the two main Fed Ex depots and are frequently unladen. There are also numerous car transporters, using the road to the JLR storage depot at Baddesley. Furthermore to top it all the Aldi HQ is down the road at Atherstone , with their truck passing every few minutes. If you could resolve this problem for us it would be much appreciated. Thank you
