Waste bins out on collection day almost completely blocking path

Reported anonymously at 12:46, Tue 24 November 2020

Bringing son back from nursery this morning on bin day and on both sides of the road the pavement is completely inaccessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs. We have already reported this road before because my partner cycles to and from work down this stretch of the road and often almost gets run down by cars because there’s only space in the road for one car due to the parking along the road. This left me with no choice but to walk in a single lane road with two children including one baby in a pushchair I felt very unsafe. Please kindly resolve this whether it means bin collectors have to grab the bins from just inside peoples gates in place them back there or leave them elsewhere this is clearly a potentially dangerous situation. The exact location is on the pavement along quarry high street near from Coppocks alley to the corner of Gladstone road. Hope to hear from you soon, Caroline Lyon
