Many trees along the Ock have vast amounts of ivy growing on them

Reported anonymously at 18:10, Mon 28 September 2020

The habitat of the Ock area is threatened by overgrowth of ivy. If the ivy is allowed to suffocate these trees, it will be devastating for the wildlife and a huge loss to the town. This is a very popular and valuable area to people, a wonderful place of diverse plants and habitat to many animals and insects. I I do hope work can be undertaken before the trees are irreversably affected, which would also lead to great financial cost as they would become unsafe. With many thanks.
