10cm x 15cm x 20cm deep collapsed section of road

Reported anonymously at 14:00, Tue 15 September 2020

This collapsed section of road is contributing to vehicle suspension and tyre damage. The cause of this collapse is the Council's FAILURE to adequately sign both Greycot Road and Braeside to prevent unsuitable vehicles using these roads as a 'rat-run' - unsuitable being articulated lorries with fully-laden 40-ton 20-ft+ trailers, fully-laden concrete mixer trucks, and construction materials delivery vehicles - in both directions. Note that the photographs highlight the area, a 'physical investigation' will be necessary as the Council's Highways department personnel are not qualified/experienced enough to assess a photograph adequately or accurately. Further note that this depression is directly over the Main sewer and Thames Water Main
