Broken pavement drain cover

Reported anonymously at 22:53, Wed 25 January 2012

The recently replaced metal grid strip covering the open gutter bisecting the pavement has become detached from the anchoring mortar and has been bent by a number of vehicles parking to access the railway. The attached picture shows initial damage. Since this picture was taken the entire grid strip and attached mortar have come loose and the open gutter is now exposed for half the width of the pavement.
