Flooding on Road

Reported anonymously at 08:59, Wed 17 June 2020

This issue is long-standing. We asked for the drains to be cleared back in February & various requests since advising that the issue remains UNRESOLVED. The drains on Broad Lane between from the BT Exchange & Penn Lane are full of debris/silt and struggle to cope with any rainfall causing dangerous flooding on the carriageway (a main commuter road). The pictures today are from the 17/06 (no rain)and not from the storms of the 16 June when the road became a river. PLEASE clear & jet these drains.
