Good bus shelter replaced by bad

Reported by Ben Ward at 11:51, Wed 9 April 2008

The residents of Littlemore Hospital would sit and watch the world go by from the bus shelter, giving them an escape from sitting in a non-smoking hospital. Now, thanks to Clear Channel and their advertising-friendly shelters, the residents can sit on the intentionally uncomfortable seat while looking at the fence. I'm sure having bus stops subsidised by an international advertising giant saves on our council tax, but what does it do for the well-being of the mental health residents or the clutter of the street?
