Roadside Rubbish on Besselsleigh Road

Reported by Martin Hughes at 15:00, Wed 5 February 2020

I have observed over the past year a gradual increase in bottles, cans, fast food packaging discarded from vehicles in the country end of Besselsleigh Road. It is a disgraceful spectacle that I, as a local resident, am ashamed of. May I suggest that you close the road for a time whilst a thorough decontamination of the verges is conducted. ( I mean "decontamination" as this rubbish is becoming part of the soil structure). We have locals who would be willing to assist but it should be organised by professionals, not us.
