White Lane Direction Marking

Reported by Mark Saxby at 15:24, Sunday 26 January 2020

Dear Sirs, I am writing regarding the approach to the roundabout at the end of Gunnels Wood and in particular the missing lane direction marking in both lanes. I have witnessed numerous accidents and have nearly been involved in one myself where i have been in the left lane to go straight on to the A1072 (Martins Way) and have had to suddenly stop on the roundabout as someone in the outside lane has done a left to head towards Sir John Henry Newman school or the hospital. It might not stop everyone but a left turn or straight over arrow in the left lane and a straight over or right turn in the outside lane would surely help. Regards, Mark
