Chase plant hire vans and diggers parked on double yellow lines and on pavement making young school chilren walk in road which is on a junction

Reported anonymously at 13:23, Mon 28 October 2019

Chase plant hire on the junction of union street and high street. Every day mostly in morning and evening this hire shop is parking its vans on double yellow lines and on the pavement which is forcing parents with young children into the road , this is happening next to a junction, also cars turning left off the high street onto union street are having near misses with cars which are on the wrong side of the road because they are having to drive around the chase plant hire pick up vans which are parked on double yellow lines ouside the shop. They are also jet washing all the mud off the diggers which is causing a real mess on the pavment and road. The pavement itself has now sunk from the diggers driving across it, this is a quiet residential street and should not be treated like this. This has been going on for at least 10 years but only used to be 2 vans but now they have approx 6 vans loading and unloading all day especially around school times.
