Hedge encroaching on path

Reported anonymously at 14:12, Tue 15 October 2019

Private hedge on corner of Danesbower Lane/Yarmouth Rd Blofield has encroached so far onto footpath rendering it barely narrow enough to walk comfortably along;mothers with buggys invariably have to push along the verge. It is also obscuring vision of the junction when trying to cross the road to the footpath opposite and can be quite dicey as cars turning left do not see you until they are on top of you. I appreciate the householder trims new growth every year but the overall volume of the hedge has increased in the 7 years I have lived on the road. Can it be taken back to the original line of the path ?
