Over the weekend of 12/13th October, a very large banner was erected at the junction of Saumur Way and Myton Road. This banner advertised the Warwick Mop Fair and was presumably erected by its operators. It created a major obstruction to the line of sight of drivers pulling out of Saumur Way onto Myton Road and I consider it to be a road traffic hazard. I reported it to both the Police and to Warwick District Council who both seemed indifferent. It was taken down by someone on 13th October, but should not be allowed to be re-erected. I believe that erection of this sign is an offence.
