Road is often impassable for emergency vehicles

Reported anonymously at 15:13, Monday 9 September 2019

Rydal Avenue is quite narrow and this is made worse when large vans are parked for extended periods. Sometimes it is impossible to get down the street and one has to drive around the block to come at the street from the other end. Lately it has become so noticable, that people are wondering what would happen if an ambulance or fire engine needed to get through. Another example is when a parcel was not delivered and the note on the web site simply read "could not access property". When we called them, they said that they could not get down the street! There isn't a problem with cars, its purely the interaction between the cars and the large vans etc.
