Road is sinking in Corfe Close. It is the area of a small car causing a kerb to break in two and the pavement to crack.

Reported anonymously at 15:37, Sun 30 June 2019

The road is sinking and the pavement cracked. Due to this a kerbstone has broken in two. This problem has been here for several years, but is definitely sinking faster this year. The affected area is 4 kerb stones x 4 kerb stones and forms a triangular shape at the end of Corfe Close. It is a potential trip hazard for elderly or visually impaired pedestrians walking from the footpath to the main road. There is also the worry that it could give way at any time and take a parked car and possibly its passengers with it. This has been reported before and my previous neighbour reported it prior to moving 18 months ago. As yet the problem is still here. How long will we wait before the problem is investigated and rectified? I do not believe my photos show the sinking to be as bad as it is, apologies for that. Many thanks
