Flytipping

Reported anonymously at 13:11, Tue 16 April 2019

A load of rubbish, mostly paperwork, has been thrown into the Boundary Brook stream. It appears to have been thrown in from the pavement on the Oxford Road, or from the stream path itself close to the Oxford Road end. A large amount of papers, leaflets and bottles are now floating down the stream (see photos 2 and 3), getting caught on other detritus dumped in the stream, and clogging up the watercourse. These photos were taken at ca 11 a.m today (16 April). Swift action needs to be taken before all the rubbish either blocks up this stream or enters the river further downstream. Thank you.
