Leaning tree

Reported by Alan Oakley at 10:06, Fri 15 March 2019

I am a Bromley Tree Friend. I reported this to the Tree Friends team but they told me to send it in this way. What I said to them was: "There is a small tree outside 14 Groveland Road, Beckenham that is leaning slightly. It is one of the newer trees planted 12-18 months ago with the taller cage (like to one pictured on page 10 of the Tree Friends Toolkit). It has probably been caught by the wind during the winter. The tree is quite stable so no risk of is falling over. It can be pushed upright again quite easily but doesn't stay in the upright position on its own. It probably needs someone to knock down the stake a bit further while the tree is held in the upright position but I can't do that, particularly as the cage is higher than the top of the stake. Can this be attended to please." By the way, none of the subcategories apply, so I have had to select one at random to get your system to accept my request!
