Pedestrian Crossing at Whitchurch Rd, fairoak rd junction on the Whitchurch road side does not have a delay timer on it. Frequently cars are completing their turn from fairoak when the pedestrian crossing has already turned green.

Reported by Natasha Rees at 22:38, Monday 4 March 2019

When turning right from Fairoak Road onto Whitchurch road there is often a slight delay in completing your turn, even if you’re the first car at the junction, due to the road lay out. The pedestrian crossing after the turn has no delay on it so has frequently turned to green, allowing pedestrians to cross, whilst there are still cars turning. This is causing a number of near misses.
