Desperate need for a crossing

Reported anonymously at 13:01, Thursday 17 January 2019

There is a desperate need for crossing on shutt lane. Many residents from Malthouse Lane, valley road etc, try to walk to the local shops, yet are met we the issue of trying to cross shutt lane, which most times other than the quietest of times, is very difficult and dangerous to cross. If the local council wish locals to use the local shops, then access needs to be improved, also considering that there is very very limited car parking around the co-op. The age of the locals also needs to be considered, many are elderly, and those that are younger often have pushchairs/ children and both regularly access Earlswood village hall. A cross is urgently required.
