Historic milestone in very poor condtion

Reported by Greg Birdseye at 16:58, Mon 14 January 2019

I understand the county council as the relevant highways authority has responsibility for maintaining/ safeguarding historic milestones. The Iffley stone (dated 1635) is in very poor condition and has deteriorated over the last 15-20 years (see photos - taken 2018 and 2001). Please can you advise on the steps you can take to prevent further damage? Thanks Greg Birdseye (for Iffley History Society)
