Cars parked all over pavement and double yellows

Reported anonymously at 21:33, Thursday 3 January 2019

There are cars parked all over the large pavement outside the cafe on the corner of Francis Street and the double yellows at the start of the street outside the cafe and 2 Francis Street, lots of people carriers and Ubër vehicles. It creates obstacles for pedestrians trying to walk there, the cars are sometimes parked on doubke yellows either side of the street leaving no space to cross as they are parked on the crossing! Goodness only knows how any parent with a pram gets by, any older people with shopping trolleys or walking sticks gets by, and it’s no wonder people with mobility vehicles take to the road when car owners think it is acceptable to park all over the pavements! The pavements are not wide to accommodate parking! Please could these cafe business owners be made to take responsibility as they or their cafe visitors are the ones who are parked there 24/7! They visit the mosque down the road next to the old Broad Street Windows site and show little consideration with their irresponsible parking!
