Dangerous parking

Reported anonymously at 10:13, Tue 24 July 2018

When these houses and access road were constructed, Chipping Norton was a lot quieter than it is now. With increasing pressure for parking places in the town, the lower part of Marlborough Road has become a popular place to park for free all day. But, without any road markings, there is nothing to prevent people parking on both sides and all the way down to Over Norton Road. With the curve in the road, that makes this dangerous since it is impossible to see the road is clear when joining from Over Norton Road or when driving down Marlborough Road since there will often be cars parked all the way up to Chalford Close. This is a bus route, so should be kept clear.
