Hard-to-read Thames Water Works road closure signage

Reported by Neil Hood at 05:04, Mon 16 July 2018

Road closure signage is impossible to read whilst driving past at night; it’s thin black ink hand-written on shiny silver duct tape that ‘glares’ when lit by headlights. It’s totally impractical signage, I had to find somewhere to park so I could walk back to read this important notice. This is a very poor effort from Thames Water and judging by the amount of duct tape overlaid on more tape, this is their norm.
