Mud and dirt on road

Reported anonymously at 08:23, Fri 23 February 2018

Mud on road from building sites is extremely dangerous for motorcycles and almost caused an accident whilst I was travelling in a straight line. Very disappointed by Council's decision to ignore its legal obligation to ensure that the roads are kept in a safe condition. Failing to respond when you have been made aware of a danger leaves you open to legal action to recover costs for any damage and injuries / death caused. When it freezes this road will become an ice rink as the salt will be below the surface of the mud. I've taken a screenshot of this page and the previous report about the same road and will not hesitate to pursue you if it becomes necessary (unless I'm dead from hitting one of the many trees lining the road of course). Please serve a notice on the contractors requiring a wheel-wash for their vehicles. It will cost you a lot less in admin than it will to any more unfortunate motorists who crash on this road due to your inaction. The road is dangerous even when driving sensibly - PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!!
