Faulty traffic lights

Reported anonymously at 11:44, Thu 11 January 2018

Traffic lights on this busy junction of Burgess Road and Glen Eyre Road recently developed a fault. The green light for pedestrians comes on every cycle, irrespective whether someone has pushed the button or not. Throughout the day and night most of the time there are no pedestrians waiting to cross and yet the light comes on all the time resulting in long queues of cars building in all directions, totally unnecessarily, or long delays. Smooth flow of traffic on busy junctions like this is therefore impeded.
