This road should be 20mph not 30. Traffic regularly exceeds safe speeds. and there are parked cars, residents entering /exiting driveways and side-roads, and pedestrians, dog-walkers and a cycle path all cross the road. The situation is at its worst during moring and eveing rush-hours but vechicles drive too quickly for the conditions at many times.

I have lived in this residential road leading to a busy office park for 4 years and have recently semi-retired so I have had more chance to see what happens along the road. There are always parked cars, residents entering /exiting driveways and side-roads, and delivery vehicles and others stopping. There is a cricket club and sports field at the eastern end of the road with the attendant vehicles overflowing the small car park provided. People park and others often cross the road there with little thought for safety. To one side there is housing , to the other The Green, an open grassed area. There are pedestrians, dog-walkers and a cycle path all crossing the road. The situation is at its worst during morning and evening rush-hours but vehicles drive too quickly for the conditions at many times. Parked cars have been clipped on a number of occasions, without anyone owning up, probably because drivers try to make it through to the next 'pause-place' in between parked cars, so they drive too fast and take risks. Vehicles regularly have to reverse because someone has tried to squeeze through unsafe spaces. It is a stretch of road that common sense would suggest should have a lower speed limit. Please give this serious consideration before there is a serious accident. I am sure I am not the only person concerned about this matter!
