Unmaintained trees, 17th May

Well over grown unmaintained fern/conifer trees. They are both higher than my house, blocking out light and killing my lawn which since being here 3 years has been re-turfed twice, i have a lot of bird mess around my garden and patio too. The other is at the end of my parking bay (saddlers close) which causes untold damage to my vehicle ie bird mess corroding my paint work and needles blocking my front drainage holes causing it to leak water into the car. I can not see that these trees belong to 'anybody' and have tried to investigate but not got anywhere. In between these two tree's is a row of the same trees adjacent to my garden that are again over the illegal height limit stated by law

Roadside litter and debris, 24th April

Hello. There is a periodic accumulation of discarded debris and litter particularly on the south side of A31 from Kings Lane to Spitfire Link - glass bottles, tins etc. There is a triangular roadworks sign and frame, face down on edge of the footpath path that is now being grown over and is a hazard. About halfway down it is roughly level with the two-way traffic sign on the North side of the A31. There is a smashed windscreen by the mangled roadsign frame near the roundabout. The brambles are also encroaching over the footpath, the only one that links Chilcomb to WInchester and part of the South Downs Way. Your help in keeping it clear is appreciated.

Dangerous Panel in bridge over the river, 19th April

I have been campaigning for some time to get our road cleaned and today a gentleman arrived with a small sweeper to tackle the job. He took a great deal of time and care over doing the work and has made an excellent job of it. Many thanks

There is lots of felt pen graffiti in the shelter at the end of the park. There is also some sprayed / painted graffiti on the brick wall above the bench by the swings. All of this spoils an otherwise really attractive little park.

Tree overhanging garden shedding branches, 7th March

Large overgrown and ivy covered tree behind houses, between the houses on Elizabeth way and the footpath running behind. Several of the trees have branches overhanging the gardens, this one is hanging over the garden of number 26, almost totally obstructing light, and killing all grass. Tree is beginning to show signs of disease as branches are falling into the gardens (small sections and much larger sections that are difficult to dispose of). Propose tree is cut down, or branches removed to a safe level to avoid damage to property.

Extremely dirty pavements, 5th March

Dog walkers are fouling the pavement profusely along this path. This is the main way in and out of Highcliffe for most people and especially for local children to walk to school. There are no bins for people to put dog mess in and they are just letting it block the pavement. It is so bad today with at least 10 massive droppings forcing mums with pushchairs to go into the road to avoid bringing the mess into their homes on the wheels of the pushchairs. This particular bit of pavement does not get cleaned as during the week it is used as free parking for city workers. During winter the trees over grow the pavement and when it snows or rains it is extremley slippery however the latest problem is the obscene amount of dog poo all long this road. Please help.
