There is still a lot of standing litter on this stretch of road, through Longdown and out towards the junction with the Teign Valley Road. There are a few full supermarket bags of discarded litter now too. Please could we have a Spring clean?

Tree grills damaging new trees, 14th March

The new trees that were put in as part of the Wolborough Street enhancements are being chafed by the grills at thier bases. This damage is only going to get worse as time progresses. I'd suggest that the grills are replaced. perhaps use some of that porus tarmac that is around the trees in the town centre in Exeter.

Walking down Balland Park today within a space of 200 yards we had to avoid multiple dog faeces. Crossing the road we were confronted with more. People are at risk from toxocara canis.

Multiple dog faeces, 10th January

On Balland Lane on the pavement (nearest house called Silver Mist) there are multiple dog faeces on the pavement. Some of them are trodden in already and spread over the pavement. This is a disgrace. Nothing seems to be being done to target the dog owners who are responsible for this. I'm worried about the risk to children and blindness caused by toxicariasis should they come into contact with this. I shall be encouraging everybody in Ashburton to report instances of dog fouling to this site and to Teignbridge district council from now on. I will report every instance of dog fouling I see on the streets of Ashburton to the council.

Outside 2 Roborough Gardens by the lamp post (which carries a 'No Dog Fouling' sign!) - somebody has allowed their dog to foul the pavement and not cleaned this up. I have young children and they nearly stepped in it.
