Blocked drains under gulley grates, 6th May

Although the drains in Lydd have supposedly been cleared recently, the two closest to my front door are still brim full of rubbish. One is located outside of No. 9 High Street and the other is on the opposite side of the High Street outside Credo Care. It is only a few months since the grate covers were removed and raised when the new road surface was laid but the opportunity to empty the drains at that time was missed.

There is a close knit community of dog walkers in Folkestone, and recent reports of attempted dog theft have made many dog walkers worried about taking their dogs on the Leas or down to the Coastal Park. We have a shared driveway with our neighbours with a turning area so we can all park. They keep parking one car in the turn around area and then their huge toureg at the end so we cannot get either of our cars into our spaces as its to tight. This is making parking in our allocted spots impossible and even worse as we have a baby so need to use our drive daily.

Right outside our School entrance - All Souls Primary there is a green box that has been broken open and we are very concerned about all the wires that are on display. The box is right at the entrance where the children come in everyday and we are concerned about their safety. We have contacted BT and Telephone Europe who say that this does not belong to them.

Foot/Cycle path between Corbett Road and Haven drive festooned with litter both sides.Lots of bottles, cans, plastic sheeting and paper in hedges on and around cycle path. Parkland alongside Corbett Road and Petrel Way also covered in litter some of which has been there for months. Litter generally worse at the Corbett Road end where NO litter bins have ever been positioned in spite of bringing this to the councils attention many times.
