Dog Fouling, 1st November

There is a little patch of grass outside our house which dogs persistantly poo on and as I never see any dogs roaming the streets alone I am assuming that residents allow their animals to do so. Not only is it rude, unsightly for all residents of the street it is also very unpleasant for us! We've tried putting vinegar down as a deterrent and leaving signs but nothing seems to make any difference.

There is a large amount of rubbish dumped outside my flat (in the courtyard) at 5a Crescent Avenue, Whitby YO213EF. Including: Rotten furniture Fridge/Freezers Household Waste Building Supplies, metal, wood, cement bags etc. The rubbish as been here several months and is starting to rot and smell extremely bad. I often have to move the waste out of the way to access my door. Some of the furniture is stacked dangerously and I have concerns about fridge chemicals and rats outside my door. I have reported the problem to the landlord Leeds & Yorkshire Housing Association several weeks ago and they have taken no action. The flat is located behind 5 Crescent Avenue (just down the alley). Litter and dogs muck. Bins left out on path back street., 17th October

At the corner of Raglan Terrace bin's are broken litter all over the street. some one has dumped a bag of cat poo in the street ,now cats are useing it as their toilet.This has been a problem for some time.it not only looks a mess but its also a health and safety issue.Another problem is at the back of Raglan Terrace Bins are left out blocking the paths.The Bins are for the flats above the corner shop .

All along vally road there seems to be an inability among dog owners to pick up after there dog. i am a dog owner and have 2 dogs and pick up after both of them all the time and it pains me to see masses of dog mess on the streets and has turned into a minefield navigation exercise to get anywhere. on 2 occasions i have shouted at other people to pick up after there dog mainly kids walking there parents dogs and they have replied "why should we we don't have to" or "oh i forgot bags" so i gave them some and they still didn't pick it up. I would very much like this problem sorted and the lazy, filthy, irresponsible people to face the correct punishment as it is law.

Dangerous and Hazardous Cars, 11th June

At least 7 vehicles have been on this site for over 3 years. They have been badly vandalised with broken windows and glass scattered all around. This is an eye sore and very dangerous to the children and adults who live nearby. This area attracts youths which is encouraging drinking and drug use which is near to a children's play area. They need removing.

Tree fallen, 4th April

A tree has blown over in the winds and is leaning against the concrete railings. The railings are stopping it from falling across the road and if they were to give way the tree would fall into the road and across the footpath. Urgent attention is possibly needed.

Graffiti on Telecom Service Box, 14th November

The Telecom Service Box No.6 located on the corner of Brunswick Street & Flowergate, Whitby is in a scruffy condition due to a combination of Graffiti and the remains of Fly Posting etc. It spoils the look of the area, please can something be done to tidy it up.
