New problems to Ribble Valley Borough Council on FixMyStreet

Grit bin, 17th December, BB7 3LB

Do we have to wait until someone is killed on this stretch of road before we get a grit bin on the hill exiting Shireburn park, elderly people live on this site and CANNOT get on or off due to the lack of road treatment. We pay our council tax for nothing on this site, its a disgrace.

There is water leaking from beneath the public footpath on John Smith's playing fields, Longridge. It is near to the children's play area where the tarmac surface changes.

Certain people allowing their dogs to foul,and not picking it up when children play in this area. We have asked poiltely if they will pick it up and they refuse.

Small Flytip, 6th August, PR3 3EP

There has been a small fly tip inside the boundary of the Electric Facility, situated next door to number 21 Hacking Drive, Longridge. It has been there for about 6 weeks, and it contains general rubbish which keeps being added to. Would appreciate removal.

Someone has been flytipping in the electric substation grounds, there are currently binbags and boxes there, some of which contain evidence of the address of origin.

Abbott Brow, as with the bottom of Saccery Lane, is a mess with discarded litter on the grass verges and at the side of the road. There doesn't appear to be any street cleaning done on these roads for some time.

In parking area adjacent to reservoir, on Chapel Brow. Rubbish includes old fruit machine and debris, glass and the tailgate of a Citroen AX, with reg plate P698OUY.

Damaged wall: further collapse likely , 15th February, Lower Lane, Longridge

Wall appears to have been damaged, leaving a gaping hole, by a vehicle in a recent crash. Heavy coping stones, and what remains of the wall above the hole are showing signs of collapse. This is adjacent to the footway.

Damaged Drain, 5th January, BB7 1JD

The upper brickwork that both surrounds the drain and supports the grate has given way. Loose brickwork and mortar have fallen and are blocking the bottom. Also the surrounding tarmac (at the surface) is collapsing.

Dangerous parking, 24th March, manor fields, whalley

The white Ford Transit truck N232NYS has returned to park on a very narrow bend in the road, half on the pavement making difficult for the elderly residents of Manor Fields apartments to walk past, and it obscures the view of traffic negotiating the corner.

Rubbish uncollected for over 2 weeks. It was accessible last Friday as the thaw had melted much of the snow and ice but there was no still collection.

Bin men have decided not to collect this week because they haven't gritted Knowsley Road. Have been told by Ribble Valley Council there will be double collection next week. What happens if it's still snowed up next week? Very poor Ribble Valley, very poor!

Missed collection, 3rd January, BB7 2PQ

I assume due to adverse weather conditions our refuse collection did not take place on Saturday 2nd January. (scheduled date was 1 Jan). Please could you let me know if this will be collected before the next due date (friday 7th) and if not will it be acceptableto leave side waste at the side of the normal bin.

Whenever it rains!water just pours from this drain,but the drain is covered by an untaxed car.The car has been reported to the DVLA twice in 3 years but no action taken.

Fouling on my front garden, 5th October, BB7 2BP

An animal is fouling constantly on the grass at the front of my house. Don't know if it is a dog or cat as I've never caught it in the act. I keep removing the fouling but more appears within couple of days
