<title>Unauthorised clamping sign, 17th March</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/49276</link>
<description>I have noticed on several occasions that Newquay Football Club have taken to displaying a sign at the entrance to this PUBLIC car park stating a message along the lines of &amp;quot;Private car park. Unauthorised vehicles will be clamped&amp;quot; on SOME days when they hold football matches.

This is a public car park owned by the council, and furthermore I would have thought it was probably an offence to display such a sign.

<title>Dangerous Wall - Accident waiting to happen., 17th March</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/49264</link>
<description>There is a concrete block wall at this location which forms the eastern boundary of the properties on the western side of the public footpath (council owned), which is in an extremely dangerous state.

It is leaning towards the footpath, the 'amount of lean' from bottom to top being approximately equal to it's thickness, which in turn is approximately 6 inches (being the size of blocks used in its construction).

Although this wall has been out of plumb to some degree for years, IMO it is only a matter of time before it falls over onto the footpath under its own weight, possibly killing someone in the process. In fact it is probably pure luck that this has not already happened.

<title>Encroachment, 17th March</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/49260</link>
<description>The residents of this house have encroached on the public footpath (owned by the council) which runs adjacent to their property.

They have knocked down the original concrete block wall and replaced it with a wooden fence approximately 18&amp;quot; or 0.5m outside their boundary, which runs for approximately half the length of said boundary.

This has obviously had the effect of narrowing the public footpath.

<title>Speeding motorists, 26th October</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/10134</link>
<description>The speed limit in trelawney road is signed at 20mph &amp;amp; has quite ineffectual traffic calming speed bumps - also signs have faded which looks as if it gives misleading information about speed limit..slades road &amp;amp; tregonissey road adjacent to trelawney road are signed at 30mph.. The problem is that traffic regularly exceeds these limits, sometimes by twice the legal limit. With the continued rise in local house building &amp;amp; even more vehicles, this problem is bound to continue or worsen in time.. Coupled with the trend for sports exhausts on fast cars, it makes living in this area an absolute nightmare at times.. A restful evening indoors or a decent nights sleep is a thing of the past..I have been to the police &amp;amp; also contacted my M.P. but have always been told that cost is the main factor - maybe if 'the powers that be' had to endure this, a solution would soon be found..

<title>Persistent dog fouling in the childrens play area between Polgover Way and Old Roselyon Road, 27th August</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/7915</link>
<description>Over the past 3 years I have witnessed, on countless occasions, irresponsible dog owners failing to clear up after their dog/s. The park is used by children and the selfishness of some dog owners is putting other peoples health at risk. There is a &amp;quot;Dog Waste&amp;quot; bin located at one entrance to the park but the other 3 entrances don`t have a bin. It would also be more effective if signs were erected around the park stating the consequence of not clearing up dog mess.
Thanking you in advance with your assistance in this matter.

<title>Business using public bin and domestic refuse bags, 16th April</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/2518</link>
<description>Lostwithiel Antiques, Queen St, Lostwithiel, PL22have been seen on a number of occasions putting their shop waste in the public bin across the road. I havd also seen them putting bags of rubbish from the shop (on 1 occasion 11 bags!) and leaving them outside their house (The Old Post Office, Grenville Rd, Lostwithiel PL22) for collection as household rubbish. It seems I am subsidising their business!
