Grafitti on Post box, 17th December

First noticed on Sat, 17 Dec 2011. There is white graffiti on one side of this postbox. It is located on the corner of New Road in Barnoldswick. If you drive from Kelbrook into Barnoldswick you will spot the box and the graffiti at the first junction on the left hand side after the 30 speed limit signs.

Although I apprieciate there is still building work being carried out on the houses of formly Lamberts Woodyard, the area surrounding Manchester Road is becoming a tipping ground, I realise that the work on these houses has yet to be completed, BUT the workforce have removed things from the building which have been left for almost a year without being tidyed up,these items include bed, chair 4 rusty bins, cardboard boxes to name a few dumped on the land rear of the propteries. Please help us to clean up the gateway into Nelson

Rubbished dumped, 15th October, bb8 0bd cleveland street

Hi i live at 17 Clevelamd street on saturday 15/10 i discovered that someone ( in all probability an immediate neighbour ) has dumped there house hold junk outside the rear my property and it is quite a large amount. there is a sofa and various other items all stacked against my fence. It was not there on wednesday 12/11. This is not the first time that this has been done , previously it was several wheelie bins full of rubbish witch had been placed there , I also reported this. I have no means to remove these dumped myself. If you could help with this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

Cluster of bushes producing a blind spot for traffic!!, 15th September, BB9 9UP

There are a cluster of bushes on the corner of Scotland road & Pendle street in Nelson. Causing major problems to drivers as it is a dangerous bend. It is totally unpredictable when pulling out from the galleries, victory centre and when coming out of Pendle street you have to pull further out to see oncoming traffic. These bushes was cut down in the past but for some reason they havn't for a long time. There is no need for the bushes at all. I have just had a baby and my worries are that people come flying round that corner and if im pulling out with caution it will only take a few seconds before my car is hit. Please avoid an accident occuring by just sending someone to trim these bushes or remove it completely. I will keep this on file incase an accident happens and you havn't done anything about it. Please do something

Recently a young man of Asian heritage was seen in the afternoon urinating in the bus shelter at the top of Southfield Street. When we complained he replied with obscenities and racist remarks including: 'white bitch'.

99 Scotland Road At the rear of this property is an appalling state - it severely degrades the whole Back-to-back terrace. The waste ground at the rear of the Mosque and Bull Hotel is also a resource that could be put to better use by residents and users alike.

There is an open black bin bag dumped on kensington st bb9 7dq with rotting food inside.the back of the houses on manchester rd that are being done up is also full of rubbish which means that is also blowing out onto kensington st.the back st belongs to the council.

Another skip in the way, 22nd December, BB8 0PX

After finally having an unsafe, unclean skip removed from the street this week another has appeared to take it's place. Having a skip on the front street is causing parking chaos in the evenings as often the street is overfull with cars. At this time of year, along with all the snow and ice it is really causing problems having it there. I believe the skip is hired by the people working on 28 Blenheim Street although there has been no sign of work for weeks. The last skip was removed earlier this week after complaining about household waste being dumped in it. If the skip was at the rear it would not cause any parking issues.

Abandoned skip, 16th December, BB8 0PX

A skip has been on the street for over two months taking up valuable parking space. The skip was used by the new owners of 28 Blenheim Street to clear the house but they haven't returned for a while now and the house is unoccupied. Due to the cold weather and disruptions to refuse collections people have been using the skip for household waste and it is now full. We are worried that this may attract vermin. Also when windy rubbish blows all over the street.
