Nuisance Moped in early hours, 2nd May

Nuisence moped with deafening noise from the clearly damaged/broken exhaust. My partner and I are awoken every morning at around 5am to 5.20am, and long before it reaches us at the top of Ketts Hill, due to the excessive noise level . The moped will travel up the Hill and along Plumstead Road and is clearly audible for around 2-3 minute at such an unsocial hour of the morning. This has been ongoing every weekday morning for approximately 6 months. On arriving home during the week, I also found that its return journey past ours is at around 2pm to 2.15pm, where its unmistakeable noise was clearly audible for the same amount of time on its approach, even over the regular daytime traffic. It is a black 50cc moped (registration AU59 DXR) and looked to be in a state of disrepair. I have spoken to approx 10 neighbours around us, ALL of whom are woken up by it. I have also contacted our local MP regarding this issue (awaiting response).

Missing Residents Parking Sign, 12th April

There is no longer a Residents Parking Only sign on the section of residents parking between the N end of Arlington Lane and approx half way to Newmarket Road. It seems that the previous sign disappeared when the streetlight columns were replaced. As a result of the absence of a sign people picking up and dropping children for nearby schools frequently obstruct the spaces.
