Pothole and cracked road surface, 16th May

Exiting the level crossing on the east side, there is a pothole near the curb which has gone through the tarmac and the concrete surface under that. Although not particularly large, this was fragmented and deep enough to cause a puncture on a bicycle. The tarmac nearby is also starting to fail.

Unattended roadworks, 14th May

This evening traffic was brought to a standstill in both directions on Merton Road for no apparent reason. A temporary lane closure had been set up, including the use of temporary traffic lights, but nothing was happening within the sectioned-off area, and the road appeared to be intact. No workers were at the scene. Why was this necessary at rush hour? It was particularly frustrating having just a few minutes earlier been stuck in a similar situation in Wimbledon town centre, where a lane was closed in arguably one of the busiest parts of the borough, due to more unmanned road works. It took me about an hour just to drive through Wimbledon.

Manhole Cover Noise, 9th May

I have lived in Robinson road for 10 months and there is a manhole cover in the road outside number 24 High Street Colliers Wood that 'clanks' noisily every time a car drives over it. This goes on day and night many, many times an hour and is driving me up the wall. It is particularly a problem at night when a speeding car may cause the drain to 'clank' very loudly ans suddenly - waking me or my wife. I have double glazing, but the sound is still easily audible, even over my tv!!! I would appreciate it if something could be done.
