Dumped pile of mattresses, 12th February, M21 0RL

Initially there was only one old mattress, but over the past few monts the spot seems to have accumulated more. Today there are about 3 mattresses and an old sofa. Its been there for a while and no one has still taken care of it.

The street light on the corner of Shone avenue is faulty as it comes on for around half anour then goes off. when it goes off it is very dark and dangerous as there are many elderly residents living on this road. it is situated outside 36 shone avenue.

Large quantity of litter on pavements likely dropped from windows of neighbouring student accommodation building. Range of waste extends from general litter to used condoms. May particular note be taken of the nearby primary school. The problem extends along the limit of the Unite accommodation unit beside the Mancunian Way. The pavement concerned is that directly connected to the building, following it round to the pedestrian crossing over the dual-carriageway. It does not concern the neighbouring pedestrian underpass.

A large pothole has developed near to the curb at the junction of Mauldeth Road and Burnage Lane at the roundabout. It is on the Southern side where a previous repair has failed. The hole is down to the sub-strata and is of particular danger to cyclists, as it fills with water and becomes invisible.

Missing pavement / litter, 10th February, M1 2NH

When the pay & display machine was installed (machine no. 3148) on Millgate (at side of Victoria Station) the pavement was not filled in at its base. This results in loads of litter accumulating everyday - it looks awful especially being so close to station - this was reported last year but nothjing was done.
