<description>This picture is Lonsdale Road jct Broadway. Byelaws state no overhang (at all) below 8feet.

This is one example - there are others Lonsdale Road/Bare Lane and Broadway itself.

No cost to Council other than enforcement. If the Council have to do the job they can charge the occupant of the property !

In particular, consider blind people.

Still at least the bushes where sorted ( sort of ) when they drove a full size tractor up a single past walk way.... It would be nice the level this off please as the kids spent most of the late day playing in the mud bath that was left. Scuse the sarcasm... I still cant get over seeing darwin at work today....

<title>Drinking on street, 27th August, LA4 4JA</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/199860</link>
<description>I have persistantly seen people drinking on the street on this road, despite there being a drinking ban in the area, its never enforced, never seen anyone punished for it. the alcoholics of the streets roam around where kids play. Consistantly creating a bad atmosphere in the community as they are always arguing.

<title>Dry Dock Litter, 8th August, LA1 3PW</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/197294</link>
<description>The area under my house (2 Borrowdale Rd) is not accessible either than by the Canal. The litter accummulates there and it now takes up more than one meter along the dock's gate. Swans hatch there every year and often get entangled with the rubbish, which is unsightly and unhygienic. The area is not accessible, as otherwise, I would try to clean it myself. This is an ongoing problem on the Canal but it is accentuated in this corner, as the rubbish doesn't go anywhere and just keeps growing. British Waterways has not been around cleaning it for over a year.

<title>Trees causing problems, 14th July, LA1 2QS</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/193916</link>
<description>Two trees are causing problems outside number 8 and 10 ryelands road. these trees are nearly twice as high as the properties yet the are 15 feet away from the house. they block sunlight into the house and civer any vehicles in a sticky sap which damages bodywork. the trees are also in the middle of the pavement and no one can get past without stepping into the road.the base of the tree has a diameter of approx 30-40 inch, the roots are also probably undermining the foundations.
