I believe this is the location of the layby on the northbound side of the A56. There is so much litter that I'm not sure it hasn't been used for flytipping. Frankly it's disgusting

Cars park (illegally) on Station Rd right up to the juction with Highfield Rd. This makes it very difficult to exit Highfield rd into Station Rd & also difficult for pedestrians to cross the road, to the school & church. Suggest build out the footway into Station Rd to stop cars illegally parking & give pedestrians somewhere to cross. There will be an accident here if nothing is done at this junction

Been refused hard standing by hyndburn homes will not hear about mobility grant this is the 11 year with the same excuse no money survayor been and told them 3000 pound which in my opinion is rubbish

Abandoned Caravan, 22nd August

There has been a tatty looking touring caravan abandoned at the rear of 41 Bluebell Way, Huncoat for at least 2 weeks now. It is just off the cycle path/walkway and is a major eyesore, and also a fire hazard for the local youths which regularly cause ASB problems.

24-07-09 : Further anti-social behaviour from local youths. Obstructing passing traffic and using foul language. One youth is chubby with curly hair and spends most of his time on a bicycle.

Nuisance Parking, 22nd July

Large White LDV van - parked on Bluebell Way in Huncoat mainly at weekends. Causes a major obstruction - often obstructing the cycleway/footpath that crosses Bluebell Way from Bolton Avenue. This causes a great danger as pedestrians and cyclists cannot see or be seen by traffic. Also, it often causes an obstruction and if there was a fire, I doubt than any emergency vehicles could get down the road. I think the owner actually lives at 43 Bluebell Way although the van is 2 or 3 hours up from his house.

Hard to access and exit, 26th June

Most evenings and weekends it is a problem to access or exit this road as the occupents of the corner house on Blackburn Road has cars parked near the give way junction making it very difficult if a car is turning in and another car is coming to give way, won't be long before there is an accident here, maybe double-yellows would solve the problem.

People using back alley as a dumping ground, 26th April

People are using this back alley as a dumping ground. There are beds, sunbeds and household rubbish covering this alley and people are also setting the beds etc on fire. I am a disabled lady and it is impossible for me to get my wheely bin through this obstacle course. This will not be helping the rat situation either.

Litter and cigarette ends piling up in the car park of the neighbouring offices which keeps blowing onto our property. We have reported this in the past to the environmental agency who don't seem to be able to help. Is there anything the council can do to clean up this area or encourage the company's owners to clean up?
