Large pothole/sunken under road, 26th January, N6 4EU

A 'pothole' appeared in the midle of Bishops road which belied a much larger and deeper beneath it approx 3 weeks ago. Road repairers were out to cone it off, coned the pavement on each side to stop cars parking and put up several lamps and to direction signs for cars to drive around. Nothing further appears to have been done although it has been reported that workmen did appear in a lorry, got out, looked atit, climbed back in and have not been seen again!! Today the hole is still there, the lamps have disapeared, the signs are contradictory and despite efforts of local residents some of the cones find themselves in the hole. An accindent waiting to happen and a possible liability case for Haringey.

There is some building works' hoarding that is blocking the pavement on Carlingford road, close to west green road. It has been there for over a year and means I have to push my pram into the road to get past. Today as there were so many parked cars I couldn't get back onto the pavement with the pram for a while and very nearly got run over.
