Dangerous Stairs to street, 14th February, SS6 7AG

To get from the pavement to the parked cars on the street you have to use the stairs. These are uneven and do not have any handrail. My Uncle and Aunt are pensioners and struggle to descend without help. My mother has actually tripped on these stairs assisting them and now is worried to use them at all. My Aunt needs help to go to the hospital very regularly and this is now becoming a real issue. Can a handrail be added please ASAP.

Cars parking on Pavemsent, 8th February, CM1 2NF

Several cars are parking on both sides of the road half on the pavement, leaving a single lane available in the middle. This is causing problems for pedestrians and resulting in traffic congestion. One night a neightbour could not even get their van through the gap left to their house only 4 doors up the street. Could the double yellow lines be extended further up the road or maybe some traffic calming measure implemented to stop it being used as a rat run. Thank you

Noisy Drain Cover, 8th February, CM1 2NF

One of the metal drain covers on the road near my house between no 1 and no 5 Highfield Road, is making a loud double clank noise every time a car drives over it (On the left going down to Roxwell Road). I realise there are a few drain covers in that area but it will be very obvious which one it is when a car drives over it. I'd be very grateful if this could be fixed as its been waking me at night and can be heard all through the house. Many thanks

Hazardous Footpath, 8th February, CM4 9DX

The footpath that run from Fairfield through to Ingatestone Station is extremely hazardous due to compounded snow, ice and sub zero temperature. This path is used by hundreds of commuters and school children daily and I myself have slipped over on the ice (thankfully not injuring myself). It won't be long until the councils public liability insurance is put to the test.

Missing Sign, 7th February, CO9 4PE

The sign for the turn to Stambourne has disappeared which means the turn can be easily missed. Also we need the lane to Stambourne (Cornish Hall End Road) to be kept gritted/salted during ice/snowy conditions. The double decker school bus uses this route and due to ice - it had to crawl at about 5mph. It is dangerous.

Street Light Not Working For !8 Months, 5th February, CO9 2HL

The street light concerned just has number 27 on it. The older person who lives by it, and at least one neighbour, have reported it to the council and have also contacted the builder of the houses on this road. This is both a safety and security concern to the older person who lives there. More info. available ie original plot number if the council require it.

The gritting lorry never grits Mell road,Why? Last year was the same I noticed the lorry drives along East St, then drives down Woodrolfe rd, down to the Marina, missing Mell Rd. which consequently then is almost impossible to negotiate on foot or by car and very dangerous.
