A number of work type vans and cars parked in turning area at end of road which blocks a driveway and also means large vehicles have to reverse back to cromwell road or reverse all the way down risking injuring children who use the play area on the junction (eg ERYCC refuse vehicles reverse the entire length because the area is blocked)

Illegal parking, 23rd May, st augustine gate

Any day of the week motorists (including ERYCC LGV vehicles from Magdalen depot) park - illegally - on double yellow lines along the market place blocking the road or narrowing turning for other large vehicles- so they can pop into co-op or use cash machines. there is sufficient parking available - why is this not acted upon now that ERYCC has control of the parking wardens. This happens seven days a week from 7.30am till early evening but is at its worst in the morning from 7am to 9am and saturday mornings.

Speeding traffic, 23rd May, HU12 8GU

Despite many complaints traffic leaving hedon along Thorn Road is travelling in excess of 30mph - hedon police were supposed to be monitoring this and setting up a residents speed awareness camera scheme which has come to nothing. given the number of properties, the conversion of the footpath to part cycle track and the size of the leaf sail farm development and traffic turning right into thorn road (blind - you cannot see the oncoming traffic) an accident is going to happen. we have already had a car reversing out into an eyms bus and a 4 x 4 in the ditch as it took the corner too fast and lost control. how long before someone is killed?

Potato delivery van delivering to Leedhams parked on double yellow lines blocking the road causing an obstruction and congestion. Last week the traffic was backed up as far as the police station. I think the police were too busy eating donuts to notice.

One of the residents of Chestnut Avenue Thorngumbald HU12 9LD has taken upon himself to park on the pavement on a corner of the street. This stops people been able to walk on the footpath but also courses a blind spot on the corner for any vehicle coming round the corner. I have ask the person who parks there if he would move it he does for a couple of days then put it back. Please could you help before there is a accident.

Without fail from 8-9am and 5-6pm large numbers of drivers ignore the access only signs on Rectory Lane and Kirk Road. These roads are used as a "rat run" for cars, driving at speed (way over the 20 mph limit), to illegally cut through to avoid the lights. The Police, Parish Council, and ERYC are not interested. There is no policing.

Heavy goods vehicles, 19th October, HU12 8JS

Heavy goods vehicles are travelling at high speed down souttergate at 4.30am onwards causing significant noise. Front of house physically shaking and vibrating through the floor. The streets are narrow and Nov designed for this. We need heavy goods restrictions.
