Roads and Pavements, muddy / slippery, 14th November

First noticed on Fri, 11 Nov 2011. I see this as high priority. Yet again, heavy rain has washed mud and debris down Allt-y-Badi and deposited it outside the entrance to my house. The road is filthy and dangerously slippery. In addition, heavy lorries and 4x4s have demolished the road surface at the side of my property, collapsing drainage gutters and blocking drains.

Road surface, 20th September, llangollen

Coming up from Llangollen on Sunday, I wasn't going particularly fast, I hit the left hand bend. Unfortunately the road had been resurfaced half way through the bend. The excessive amount of gravel on the road meant that the tyres had no grip and I subsequently lost control and had an accident. I do feel that it is important for your resurfacing team to check that there isn't excessive gravel left on newly surfaced roads. Although there were signs, it does seem ridiculous to start the resurfacing half way into a bend. At this point a bike is not able to move to another part of the road. Could I recommend that the excessive gravel is removed as this is a highly populated bike route. I am aware of 2 other bikers who have had issues on this corner.

Road damage and potholes, 30th August, LL21 9SL

The road surface has deteriorated significantly since the last attempt at filling in the worst of the potholes. The latest episode of very cold weather in December has helped create long stretches of road damage from the point marked on the map all the way up the hill back to Derwen.

There is a blocked rain in the road outside Reeds Rains Estate Agents in the High Street. When it rains, it not only floods the roads but also spills onto the pavement by the pedestrian crossing.

Road surface is badly broken up between junction with Ffordd Colomendy & Lon Wynne. Will need an off road vehicle soon to leave home. Needs more than just a patch!!
