Ever since Crawley Station has introduced paid parking, the side streets at the Ifield railway station have become inundated with illegal parking. The roads on the Gossops Green side have become a nightmare for the residents living in this area, in so much that we have noticed vehicles parker well outside of the 3 metres of a street corner. This continuously hinders any drive trying to turn into The Croft be it left or right. In addition Craighans is so jam packed with vehicles it becomes almost impossible for anyone to drive their vehicles down Craighans to enter The Croft or Hillmead.

Rubbish and tree branches, 16th January, RH10 3TX

There is a large amount of rubbish and new cut tree branch blocking the pavement on the path that leads out for Mannings close to the Balcombe road. This is a well travelled path and school children use it every day twice a day. The cut tree branches are head height with school children and could catch unsuspecting people in the face.

Old rubbish that is now very smelly. it has been reported to the council on the 22/12/2011 who then said they couldn.t find it.it is at the rear off Maxton Walk and Greenwood Court. it is also blocking the pathway of the elderly residents.

Abandonned car on road, 18th August, A2011

For around 2 weeks there has been an abandonned car on the A2011 (Crawley Avenue), shortly after you join the road from the M23 junction roundabout. It is a dark coloured Ford Escort. The vehicle is in a dangerous position and could easily be involved in a high speed collision.

Garage 35, 27th June

Garage 35 is being used to make banger racing cars at the weekend it is like an industral estate the noise is bad and they have a generator running all day to top it off.then there is the racing and skiding up and down the garages with cars that clearly are not road legal.i am quite sure they will run a child over soon.they are not approachable and are coverd in prison tattoos so no photos sorry.

Overgrown Trees, 30th May, RH11 7UA

The trees in Turnpike place between the garages (half way along) and the far end of the road are getting quite overgrown and need trimming right back. They are now almost totally blocking the sunlight in a couple of gardens and overhanging branches are rubbing against some properties. Additionally pidgeons and magpies are roosting in the branches and their droppings constantly rain down on parked cars and passers bye, windscreens often need to be cleaned 2 or 3 times a day in some cases. Removal of the overgrown branches will prevent these problems. The trees were scheduled to be trimmed by the council 2 or 3 years ago but it never got done for some reason.

Broken Glass, 11th May, RH11 7NS

Monday to Friday we walk/ride through this area, it is constantly covered with tins and bottles often or not leading to broken glass. Many people use this pathway, it is a disgrace. Please think about others before throwing your empties on the ground, we need a bin, we need people to use it and we need it to be emptied reguarly.

Overgrown Trees, 10th May, RH11 8GF

The area to the side of 5 Howard Road next to the stream is massively in need of trimming and the trees also need trimming as they are over hanging the garden boundaries. This was always a well kept area and has now been left to overgrow and there is a large tree which is leaning over as it is in the bank of the stream which looks like it could fall down anytime.

Vans parking at junction obscuring on coming traffic, 26th April, RH11 9HB

Junction of Rathlin Road and Sheppey Close. Coming out of Sheppey close, parked on the right hand kerb, every day all day, about five commercial vans. Impossible to see any oncoming traffic from the right causing near misses with traffic. I understood it is illegal to park that close to a junction. This problem has been ongoing for over a year.

Tree Dying, 26th April, RH11 8UZ

There are 2 trees the same at the rear of the houses of Playden Court one is healthy and has green helicopters on it the other is starting to lean to one side and the helicopters are brown and dropping off and the branches look old and decayed could be hazardous if these start falling down.
