Zebra crossing at YDH, 1st February, york district hospital

Since the new multi-storey carpark has been built at York District Hospital, a zebra crossing has been put in which goes from the carpark towards the main entrance. This crossing is very dangerous as motorists coming around the corner don't seem to see it and frequently do not stop. I have nearly been knocked over myself. I am not sure if this would be the council or the hospital's responsibility, but could you make the signage/lighting at the crossing clearer.

Please could the road markings be re-painted on this roundabout.I use this road every day and in rush hour traffic there are so many near misses where drivers zoom up the inside lane coming from York towards Hull,and dive in to the outside lane at the end of the the roundabout at the last minute pushing cars out of the way as they do so.These people are a menace unable to wait in the outside lane because of the Traffic filing to Leeds.If re-painting the road markings saves one accident,then it would be worth while. Please help.

Dangerous to bikes road surface, 22nd November, YO26 6NQ

The road surface on Ebor Way, Nether Poppleton at YO26 6NJ is breaking up badly and there are potholes both sides of the road which are not safe on a bike. The stretch of road between Allerton Drive and Nether Way will deteriorate dramatically as soon as there is a period of icy weather.

This street sign, at the junction with Allerton Drive, will need mounting on new pillars before too long. It still has its original wooden posts but the one on the right is rotted at the bottom (see picture) and has sunk so the sign is no longer horizontal. The one on the other side of Midway Avenue is already mounted on metal tubes.

A street sign is missing at the junction of Long Ridge Drive and Orchard Road. The metal posts are in place but there is no nameplate on the East side of Long Ridge Drive. The street sign on the West side of Long Ridge Drive is fine as can be seen on the other picture.

A large Ford transit van reg. BN10 LTE has been parked on the corner of Poplar Street (Memorial Hall end) for several weeks with part of the vehicle on double yellow lines, making turning the corner into the narrow street difficult.
