River pollution, 18th March

10.30 this evening 17th March I noticed LARGE areas of floating pollution on the river. Unsure as to whether it was oil/sewage/boat leakage/scum or what. As a regular walker along that stretch of river I have never seen this amount of pollution before. It was very concerning. The swans were getting it all over their feathers as they tried to swim through it. The situation may change when the tide changes, but it shouldn't have been there. Please report it to the appropriate authority. Thank you

Litter bin(s), 10th March

I regularly litter pick on and around the Quomps and am very aware that two more litter bins are urgently needed. They could be sited from the humped 'bridge' roughly where the flag is and another along the path which runs along to the Boathouse pub. Litter is frequently dropped in these area or thrown into the shrubbery by the 'bridge'(by the wide gates) as there are NO bins along that frequently used path.

Unavailable dog waste bin, 10th March

It's good to see that the renovation of the paddling pool has started, BUT the wire safety fencing cordoning off the pool has been very neatly erected with the dog litter bin JUST INSIDE the cordoned off area. Could the dog litter bin be 'rescued' and made available for use. Many thanks, Rob

Oak Tree needs attention, 5th February

This lovely old oak tree is being completely suffocated by Ivy. Soemone needs to simply cut the ivy at its roots and the tree will be saved. Unfortunatley, it is not possible to access the tree trunk where the Ivy is growing. If the ivy is not killed it will destroy the tree in a short period of time

Rats seen in broad daylight just off the side passage (left side of Regent Centre coming towards the High St from the Wick lane carpark)in the grassy fenced off area at the back of the 99p shop. Judging by the flattened grass there could be a rat run there.

Water Leak, 12th December

At the top end of Purewell, in the middle of the road, outside the florist shop - maybe a mains leak? Water is continuously collecting in a large puddle in the middle of road when there has been no rainfall for the last few days! It seems to be 'bubbling' up from under the road. It looks like it may be trickling out from a burst water pipe under the road?

Blocked drain, 2nd December

Drain at the bottom end of the Wick Lane car park(Wick Lane end) appears to be blocked. Heavy rain fall running down the car park into this drain cover is draining VERY slowly. Rain water is building up around it causing huge puddles. Similar drains on the car park are draining freely.
