Unsure as to whether it was oil/sewage/boat leakage/scum or what. As a regular walker along that stretch of river I have never seen this amount of pollution before. It was very concerning. The swans were getting it all over their feathers as they tried to swim through it. The situation may change when the tide changes, but it shouldn't have been there.
