<title>Overgrown Hedge, 2nd March, The Wiend, Chester</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/46954</link>
<description>Privit hedge is now taking up to 3/4 of the pavement. Couple with the grass verge, it is not possible for two people to pass without one stepping onto the grass verge, which is often very muddy, stepping on to the road or waiting for the other to pass. Hedging is very dirty, as is always the case with privit hedges, so brushing into it is not acceptable either. Very busy stretch of pavement as used as access to the Dixon's Drive Fields.

<title>Leylandi Hedging, 2nd March, Pensby Avenue, Chester</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/46949</link>
<description>There is a short section of the above which is about 30 ft tall and which about a year ago was clipped up to about 6/8ft high and as a consequence is now completely top heavy. In even moderate winds it sways alarmingly and had now started to affect the wall - it is in danger of failling over.

<title>Road and pavement gritting, 8th January, CH3 5UH</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/39485</link>
<description>Since this latest cold spell the people living in Ingham Close, Boughton have not had their rubbish taken away and neither has the roads or pavements been gritted. The average age of people living in this area ia about 75. The area is now (Thursday) a lot better but some people have been marooned in their flat since Monday due to the icy pavements and roads. By flat 2 there is a sand and gravel bin and some friends of the residents have spread as much as they could to help but that has now run out and the bin is empty. A poor service for our aged and infirm people in not just Ingham Close but Chester pavements in general. The local hospital has been innundated with people having treatment for broken limbs. A disgrace

<title>Car vandalism, 24th October, CH2 2AP</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/33124</link>
<description>Cars are being frequently vandalised on and around Newry Park. In speaking to residents, they are suffering significant damage to their cars; be it tyres slashed or deep scratches being made. Residents believe it to be youths that do not live in this area. My car has sustained over £200 in damaged in the last two weeks which as a student, is a lot of money.

<title>Neglect of footpath, 20th August, CH4 7EW</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/28502</link>
<description>The footpath that runs inside the sandstone wall on Eaton Road is neglected. It used to be swept regularly but is not anymore. There is considerable growth of weeds. It needs to be swept and have an application of weedkiller. In general, the sweeping and litter collection on Eaton Road is excellent.

<title>Dog fouling on Elton School Field, 30th June, CH2 4PJ</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/25136</link>
<description>I have an issue with people walking their dogs on the school field and allowing then to defacate on this field. One side has been fenced off properly, but that leaves the other side wide open to misuse/abuse. My daughter attends Elton primary school and uses the field in the daytime for p.e, how can we expect the children to be safe from dog faeces when people use this field as a communal dog exercise area and DONT pick up after their dogs.

<title>Broadband - BT Lines, 23rd June, CH2 4PG</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/24814</link>
<description>This probably not a council issue, but i run a business from home that relies on the internet during business hours and the BT lines for broadband are atrocious.
When signing up we were told we could only receive 4MB broadband because we are at the end of the line from the junction box at Helsby. I have recently been testing the speed and receive between 0.3 and 0.4MB. When the line is being used a lot between here and the junction, the connection drops so low it disconnects. I am then left with no internet access for sometimes hours at a time.
Contacting BT alone makes no difference and i don't know where to go next as this is something that needs sorting out with the increase in Broadband subscribers.

<title>Noise Nusiance, 6th May, CH2 4PL</title>
<link>http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/22245</link>
<description>Chronic noise nuisance, has gone on since Summer 2007. Teenage boy and friends playing drums and electric guitars accompanied by amplifiers and microphones. Their address is: 10 Glebecroft Avenue, Elton, Chester. Unbearably loud noise. Frequent bad language. Various times of day, both weekdays and weekends. Reported to police twice. Reported to Council numerous times. Parents have taken no action despite our complaints (including in person). We have been verbally abused with accusations on several occasions by people who believe the noise to come from our property. No peace and quiet in our home. Unable to spend time in our own garden when this noise occurs. We also feel we will be unable to sell our property for a fair price as a result of this teenager and his behaviour. It is causing great amounts of stress and we are becoming concerned about impact on our health. The Council always say there is 'no-one available' for us to speak to when we call, and promise to call back. We have NEVER had a callback. Please help us!
