New problems to Cheshire County Council on FixMyStreet

This pathway as got so bad it is now unsafe for people to walk up and down and as it is used by a lot of people some one is going to get hurt as it is used by Children going to and from school. When the houses were put there a path was made with steps, but over the years it as not been looked at. I have reported this before but as yet no work as been done.

Pothole as you head down to the traffic lights ,The pothole sits on the right lane and carnt be avoided if people are in the left lane,Quite deep and does cause suspension to knock even at low speeds

No Public Transport, 24th March, CW7 2QN

As I live on Chester Lane, and the speed limit is 60mph (which is far to high)and their has been fatalities, if this speed limit was reduced it would enable buses to start running again down here, instead my 14 year old daughter has to be driven to the bus stop on Delamere Street in order to catch the school bus to leftwich. We try to encourage our children to be more active, yet the only way she can get to where she is going is to be driven as their is no pedestrian footpath and the cars go down here at a very fast rate. I wish for the speed limit to be addressed as their are residential properties on this stretch and this is now a severe safety hazard to the residents. As working Council Tax paying people I feel that we are only getting a percentage of the service we pay for due to the speed limit, also because of this, I am on LPG gas and my supplier has said they do not like to deliver here as it is so dangerous. Something has to be done urgently before we have another fatality.

Contractors were re-laying aprt of the road on 21/13/09 and heavy vehicles have caused damage to the grass verges in several places.

Potholes have been appearing since the bus route has been changed and we have 4 large buses per hour using this road.

On Manor Way, Crewe. the road began to wear about a year ago, but has gradually become much worse..just before you get to the ernest street section of the road has become far worse!

A pothole is beginning to develope on the main Cross Green road, it is opposite the unadopted road behind the Weston Grove shops and if someone from Highways could inspect this - it would be most appreciated. Thank you

Dangerous Damaged Road, 21st March, ST7 2PW

Having tried the online council website to report this problem several months ago and having received no response I am trying again via fixmystreet.com. I have attached a picture with the dangerous area shaded in orange. I now cycle 12 miles to work and back every day and cross this section on my way home when turning left into Linley Road. The surface is so poor that I have nearly been shaken off my bike on several occasions. It is only a matter of time before this surface is the cause of an accident, and I find it unbelievable that nothing has been done since my last report. Completely resurfacing would not be necessary so the cost of adding a new layer would not be prohibitive. I would think that the council would want to encourage cyclists to leave their cars at home, but this seems to not be the case as I have been totally ignored. I have recently spent £800 on a new bike and when (not if) the time comes that I am thrown off at this corner I will be holding the council responsible.

Kids playing football, 21st March, CW11 3NJ

We've lived in our close for several years now and at first there was no real problem. There are several children who play football in the street and they are now getting older and kicking the ball harder and further. This results in the ball damaging our plants and worst of all damaging the cars. We constantly tell the kids to go and play elsewhere as soon as we see their ball go on our property, which they do, but the next day they are back again. Damage has already been done on several occasions and the kids know they shouldn't be there. The most annoying aspect is that there is a large playground at the end of the close which is secure and only accessible from the close, making it a safe place for kids to play. These kids are committing an offence under section 161 of the Highways Act, but I don't want to be seen as an ogre and involve the police. It would be nice if the council could send a leaflet or letters to all houses in the close.

Road surface breaking up, 20th March, SK9 5PY

The surface of Broad Walk between Gorsey Road and Hawthorn Lane has begun to break up with many large pot-holes. Possibly needs resurfacing. Nearby Alton Road also has poor surface.

On this stretch of road there are numerous potholes on every corner! these are very dangerous especially for bikers as the holes are positioned where a biker wud be on road position.This road is a very busy road with lots of wagons using it and it needs to me maintained ,aswell as widening due to wagons becoming close on corners

Numerous Pot Holes, 16th March, SK10 2BL

There are a number of potholes all the way down Queens Avenue, I live on Rowan Way and travel to Marlborough school everyday. They are mostly on the left hand side going towards Hulley Road after Rowan Way all the way down to the junction and they are getting worse and may damage cars.
