Rubbish Bins Blocking Pavement, 26th July

Hi, 2 or 3 residents on Victoria Street perminently leave their Green Wheelie Bins and Recycle Bins out on the pavement. This blocks the pavement (particularly for peolpe with young children or disabled people) and also attracts attention from children moving them about. Also they get knocked over in the wind, or the recycle bins and lids get blown around the street.

Advertising signs, 21st July

The advertising signs from the development old ambulance station site have still not been taken down even though the development was finished a long time ago. They are at the substation next to the site. It is also looking somewhat scruffy and run-down.

Noise, 19th July

Noise at night since the smokeing ban in public houses came into effect last night 0110hrs about 20 persons standing out side the public house. Since the pub has introduced live music the noise some nights goes on till very late

Builders/Contractors dangerous parking, 17th July

For several months now, the contractors/builders working in the new housing site on the opposite side of the road to the entrance to Old Reddings Road have been parking illegally and inconsiderately. They completely block the view to the right when trying to drive out of Old Reddings Road. I use this road several times a week to take my child to nursery and I have had three near misses with other cars due to this. These vans are parked right up to the junction which I believe is illegal. Please do something about this before someone has an accident and maybe a child/children are hurt.

Joy resturant being painted, 17th July

Work is being undertaken to paint the front of Joy resturant over the exisisting stone work at the front of the building. I think this building is listed - has permission been granted for this works?

Graffiti, 16th July

Cars for sale, 15th July

Cars are being sold from the highway here. this is taking up valuable parking spaces .

Impeded access to drives , 15th July

With the opening of the new building in clyde crescent the car parking has become a nighmare with cars parked on the kerb ,across drive ways e.t.c. i would sugest some one pays the area a vist and speaks to the resedents be for some one comes to blows with a car owner .

Abandoned Saab - R649 WAN, 14th July

The subject vehicle has not moved in over a month and is not displaying a valid tax disc. It is parked in Carter Road just before the bend and is causing problems with residential parking.

Dangerous parking, 9th July

Large white commercial van parking on the grass verges from company lewis ventilation and ducting. Obstructs my view when reversing out of my parking area-have narrowly avoided 2 collisions. The grass verge is being ruined by his tyre marks. The person who owns this van live 200m round the corner and has his own parking spot but chooses to park on the road outside my house.

Bridge maintenance/graffiti, 3rd July

Poor state of decoration and general graffiti. Bridge has not been repainted in over 10 years. Creates a bad atmosphere/impression that will foster further anti-social behaviour.

Dangerous Parking, 26th June

The parking around Leckhampton is generally very dangerous people park on the corners and you are unable to see to adjoining roads & traffic approaching etc… The council could make a fantastic profit if only they would send traffic wardens into the streets off the Bath Road.

Drains set in pavement, 26th June

The drains set in the pavement on Franics Street are filled with rubbish etc.. and due to this when it rains the pavements become flooded leaving two options to ensure you do not have to walk through the water, this is either to walk in the road or balance on the curb which is as I am sure you will understand not suitible for the elderly or people with small children. I have to report this issue every year and it is never kept on top of or routinely cleaned out!

Damaged metal fence, 23rd June

Please can I report a metal fence panel that has repeatedley been vandalised. I have repaired it twice but feel it now needs welding back up which I cannot do. The photo is taken from my hall window, 23 Lynworth Exchange. It is attracting more damage from inquisitive kids. A few of the top joints along the fence are also broken. The guy/gal who mowes the grass just goes over the top of the panel on the ground, distorting it further. I would very much appreciate some attention to this matter. Thankyou
