Continual increasing Dog Fouling, 15th July

Over the past few years dog owners in Penparcau have increased dramatically, and so has the dog mess due to irresponsible dog owners young and old. The fouling even continues on the pavement past the post office and spar, usually happening early morning and late evening. We have contacted the council and dog warden repeatedly, and this major environmental issue was discussed at our local PACT meeting last week.
There are no "doggie bags" supplied any more, and the "doggie bins" overflow with potential missiles for use in anti-social behaviour!!
There is also major concern throughout Penparcau and Llanbadarn Fawr at the increasing mess on our streets, enough is enough, we need action now ; we need designated dog exercise and toilet areas, prosecution of dog owners who fail to clear up,a more pro-active approach from our dog warden! Promote responsible attitudes to dog ownership, and more public support

Grass Verges, 19th May

The grass verges all along Heol y Graig, Aberporth have not been mown for over a month and the grass is now a foot high. I have reported this every year but it does not seem to become part of the regularly mown areas of Aberporth such as Dyffryn Bank above the beach. I read that extra money was made available for this purpose for this year but so far nothing has improved. Please could the grass along Heol y Graig be cut on a regular basis.

The manhole cover and its frame on the road outside of 51 Heol y Graig is loose and all of the tarmac around it has crumbled away leaving a number of large holes around it leaving a hazzard for drivers. Please could it be repaired as soon as possible.

Car-parking on cefn llan road, 24th April

Cars are parked all along a narrow road, outside the back of the school, on the brow of a hill, and on the corner, at the back of the chip shop at the junction into the road. Visibility is seriously restricted for overtaking on the brow of the hill at the back of Penglais school and past Brynamlwg. Yesterday a scaffolding lorry was amongst the row of parked vehicles, just past Brynamlwg - it was partly on the pavement as the road is quite narrow, and visibility, for overtaking was difficult. Traffic travels quickly and the road is narrow. It feels like an accident waiting to happen.
