Grass Verge Destroyed!, 26th August

Grass verge continualy parked on by 1 car. Can 2 or 3 more wood bollards please be put up to stop the car from parking there. The verge is begining to get muddy and sunken and this needs to be done before the winter weather comes. The verge also needs leveling off where the car parks as it always fills up with water and floods the path. The exact location of the verge is on Parkside Drive, Houghton Regis. (Directly on the opposite side of the road to Trident drive). Many Thanks.

A young person, believed to be of traveller origin,has set up residence in what was the former switching room for cable tv,when supplied by Rediffusion.The building is adjacent to the garage of 80 Bromley Gardens,there is an electricity supply,being used illegally,also the metal cabinets and switching equipment were removed on the back of a pickup,i have contacted the police,who appeared not to be interested,also the council,who after passing me on to 3 different depts would not help,posting on this site is my last resort.

Overgrown bushes causing Obstruction, 12th July

The entrance to the garage block is obstructed by overgrown bushes, its hard to open the access gates fully and twice now the gates have been sprung closed by the bushes and dented my car

Removal Required, 30th June

There has been excessive graffiti daubed on 2 boxes at the entrance to Bidwell Hill estate. Last night this spread to the gable wall of the cottages on Bedford Road. Could the boxes please be cleared of graffiti as they not only look very unsightly but serve as a magnet for further graffiti.Thank you.

Yet again more rubbish dumped, 13th June

For the 5th time in the last couple of months a local resident would rather throw rubbish over the wall into the garage block than take it to the local tidytip, The council have been great at clearing up the mess but need to solve the problem of where the mess is coming from and secondly the fact that local kids are spreading the rubbish around and playing in the garage block, the problem has got worse since the block was fenced off and i would suggest either removing the fence or also putting up gates to stop the children getting inside the garage block

Noise Nuisance, 28th May

To whom this may concern, I am writing to report of local Noise Nuisance with extremely loud bass music out-putting from a vehicle which I have taken some details of, including suspect door number. Music can be heard a road away, and is often played from 5 minutes to anywhere around an hour as the longest time for continuous play. This may happen around four times in a week. The details taken include the vehicle licence plate number: Blue Vauxhall Astra YH02 XEG The vehicle was parked up on the road outside door number 88 Bidwell hill where there was the most activity, involving the vehicle. Myself and as I am sure surounding neighbours would appreciate a noticeable reduction on this.

Village name sign missing., 27th May

The CHALK HILL village sign has either fallen down off of it's posts into the vegitation or has been removed/stolen, as the sign is no longer there anymore and has been missing for about a year. The two sign posts it used to be attached to are still there. The posts where the sign used to be are on the right hand side of the road as you are heading north out of Dunstable on the A5 (Watling Street) and is in front of the start of the big wall, that is opposite Sewell Lane junction. (Right in front of Lamp Number H0021) Hope the village sign will be replaced soon, Many Thanks.

Broken/Exposed Green BT/Cable Box, 16th May

Due to cars attempting to park on the corner/pavement, the BT/Cable box has been bent and the front has fallen off exposing all the telephone wires/cables for Churchfield Road. This has happened before so please could something be done to either stop cars from parking on that particular piece of payment or provide a tougher box which will not crumple when hit by a car. Please could someone ce and fix the box as sa matter of urgently to ensure so effect to the local residents.

At roundabout junction Park Road North/ Sandringham Drive, in Houghton Regis in Park Road North. Lampost no. 27 is on during the day. There are 2 more on during the day closer to the junction with Park Road Road North/Portz Avenue rounabout. Not sure of the numbers, but they are between the two roundabouts, southbound.
